LOC #74 - tag or ATC

Hello Friends! This week's challenge over at Left of Center Challenges is to create a tag or ATC.  Of your you may always do anything goes as long as your item fits one of the LOC categories.

Our sponsor this week is Smeared Ink.  I've used one of the images from Danse Macabre which is an unmouted rubber set.

I started with a piece of chipboard and cut the two top corners off to make it a tag shape.  Next I covered it with white gesso.  I made sure to leave lots of texture.  Once that was dry I sprayed black spray over the Tim Holtz Cargo stencil.  Then I sprayed some blue and then green and then a more brighter blue.  I actually put my sprays away already but if you would like to know the actual colors leave me a message and I will let you know.  I stamped my dancing skeleton in black ink on white CS and fussy cut it out then attached to the tag.  I know the tag looks a little plain but I'm so in love with how the background turned out I didn't want to cover it up :)

What are you waiting for?!? Head over to LOC to see what amazing creations the DT have made and join in the fun.

LOC #72 - monochrome

Hello Friends! Time for another challenge over at Left of Center Challenges. This weeks sponsor is Ike's Art.

The theme is monochrome, however you can always go left of center for any of our challenges. Our challenge rules have been updated so please make sure to take a peek.
I've used Annabel Lee 2 and colored her with pencils.

I used the center step card die from The Stamp Doctor to cut my card base. Then I added the background paper and the fabulous Annabel Lee.

Make sure to check out all the creations the DT have shared over on the LOC blog and head over to Ike's Art to check out the wonderful variety of images she has in her shop.
